Printed in the newsletter, "What's the Big Idea?", this illustration accompanied the article of Kurt Heinecke. Kurt is a very talented, award winning composer and a talented photographer!
The rather battered sousaphone shown here was the one he used in the VeggieTales theme song. I gave him a "buzz lightyear" treatment to his chin. This painting was one of my favorites and I was pleased with the way it turned out!
