This is a pattern for fabric and is known as a half-drop repeat pattern. It stacks top to bottom and you shift the entire design half way in order to repeat side by side. It's incredibly tricky to get this to work and look even. This was the first of three designs that I did for Nicole Miller before the fabric designs changed. I had simultaneously moved on to different types of clients. We had fourteen colors to work with usually. These would be used for mostly men's ties, bow ties, handkerchiefs, umbrellas , scarves and the like.
