Jody Nilsen graduated from the School Of Visual Arts in NYC in the late nineties while working full-time at Y&RNY. A few years into her career she started working as a free-lance illustrator for various companies in the NYC metro area. A move to Chicago led her to become the on staff Illustrator at Big Idea Productions where she worked for the Design Department and on several projects in the Animation studio for four years. Throughout the years, her professional career has ranged from working for advertising to to editorial projects to murals for private companies. Jody also has work hanging in Mars Gallery in Chicago and has sold painting locally and overseas.
This picture is of her after asking very politely to climb aboard the ABC float on Memorial Day in order to pretend to be Ferris Bueller. After all, it was her birthday and why shouldn't she?
